Mr. Hok Kimthourn, Deputy Director of the Planning and Statistics Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, and as CASDP Manager; Mr. Srun Borin, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Preah Vihear province; Mr. Chhem Uoth, Phnom Pich Borin Agricultural Cooperative Board Director, and local authority jointly signed the agreement, which was held at the Phnom Pich Borin Agriculture Cooperative in Kulen district, Preah Vihear province. Mr. Chhem Outh, a Representative of the Agriculture Cooperative, said that today's signing agreement would help solve the problem of dry cassava warehouse, upgrade scales, provide technical assistance, and working capital to buy and sell cassava and help ensure the market price for cassava. According to the plan of the Phnom Pich Borey Agriculture Cooperative, the agreement today will implement its three-year business plan (2023-2025) to improve the cassava production chain with the ability to expand the production volume of fresh organic cassava to an average of 8489 tons per yearand equal to 26872 tons and expand the production of dried cassava to supply the domestic market at 3807 tons per year or 789,952 tons for three years, which can increase the average income of 2,6 Million US dollars.
